Who We Are
KingSeob is an independent project built and maintained by a small team with backgrounds in software engineering and personal finance. We started KingSeob because the calculators we needed ourselves — for mortgages, retirement planning, and everyday budgeting — were either buried behind paywalls, cluttered with intrusive ads, or simply inaccurate. Our goal is a fast, honest, free alternative.
How Our Calculators Work
Transparency matters, so here is exactly how our tools produce their results:
- Established formulas.Each calculator implements a published, industry-standard formula. For example, our mortgage calculator uses the standard amortization formula, and our calorie and TDEE calculators use the Mifflin–St Jeor equation, the method recommended by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Everything runs in your browser. Calculations happen locally on your device. The numbers you enter are never sent to or stored on our servers.
